A great play centre. The kids are having so much fun. Very clean and alot to do. They loved the jumping castle. Definitely bringing the kids back!

We celebrated our daughter’s 7th birthday at Monkey Mania Top Ryde last weekend and it was a wonderful experience. The venue was very clean and well maintained, and the party host in the Candyland room was absolutely lovely. She organized everything perfectly, served the kids, cut the birthday cake, and served it to the guests. The children loved the whole experience.
Both the kids and adults had a fantastic time. The food was also great, especially the pizzas, which were very fresh and delicious. It was our first time visiting Monkey Mania, and after attending other similar venues, we can confidently say this one was the best. We will definitely be back.

The party rooms are creatively decorated with fun themes, and the spacious play area is perfect for kids to run around. There’s a jumping castles, and plenty of play equipment to keep the little ones entertained for hours. Highly recommended for parties and playdates!

We chose Monkey Mania Top Ryde to celebrate our daughter's 6th birthday on 20 June 2026 (4 –6:00 pm) with over 50 guests, expecting a fun and well-organised experience. Unfortunately, it turned into one of the most stressful birthday parties we've ever hosted.
To begin with, the experience was disappointing from the moment we arrived. The confirmation email clearly stated:
"Arrive Early: Please arrive 30 minutes before your room hire time to settle your balance and greet guests. We cannot delay the start of your party for late arrivals."
Following these instructions, we invited our guests for 3:30 pm, and most of them arrived on time. However, our Candyland party room and allocated family table were not ready. They were still full of rubbish and leftover food from the previous party. We had nowhere to put our belongings or greet our guests and had to wait until around 4:00 pm before the area was cleaned and made available. It was frustrating that guests were expected to arrive on time, yet the venue itself was not ready for us.
At around 5:15 pm, the fire alarm sounded repeatedly with the announcement, "There is an emergency. Please evacuate." Naturally, everyone immediately evacuated, leaving behind personal belongings, party gifts, return gifts, and other valuables, as instructed.
What happened next was extremely concerning. There was no visible fire warden or staff member directing families to a safe assembly area. With so many young children present, parents were confused and anxious. We had no idea where to go and ended up following other shoppers because there was no guidance from Monkey Mania staff.
After the alarm stopped, a staff member found, he told us the venue would not reopen that day and that we would have to return the next day to collect all our belongings. This was particularly frustrating because Monkey Mania had our car key, which had been left as a security deposit at their cafe for the tab opened. Only after repeatedly requesting assistance did a staff member contact the manager so we could retrieve our key. A few minutes later, another staff member was found, she informed us that we could actually return to the party room because about 30 minutes of our booking remained. The conflicting information and lack of communication reflected very poor organisation.
We were also disappointed with the catering. The pizzas ordered for the adults were of poor taste. We had brought a large (12") birthday cake and requested the staff to serve it. The cake was cut into excessively large pieces for the children, resulting in a significant amount of waste.
We understand that emergency situations are beyond anyone's control, and we appreciate that evacuation procedures are essential for everyone's safety. However, the way the situation was managed is within the venue's control. Staff should be trained to communicate clearly, guide families to the correct assembly area, and provide consistent information during an emergency—especially at a children's entertainment venue.
This was our daughter's 6th birthday—a milestone we had spent months planning. Instead of enjoying the celebration, we were left dealing with confusion, poor organisation, and unnecessary stress. We are grateful that everyone was safe, but the overall experience fell well below our expectations.
We sincerely hope Monkey Mania Top Ryde reviews its customer service, emergency procedures, and staff training so that other families can enjoy the special occasions they book there without experiencing the same disappointment.

Monkey Mania is good for kids to simply run around & wear themselves out. It is large & open enough you can more or less see your kids at all times. The adult gets a free hot drink as part of entry. Price is pretty reasonable, I have my two kids here & my daughter's friend, entry was $54. Which when compared to Planet Mino or Kiddie Kove is pretty reasonable as it's entry not per hour.
Standard food of chicken nuggets for kids but is pretty tasty, sandwiches & other food available
Lots of tables & chairs, so you should always find a seat.
There are paid games inside as well, which is a bit distracting as the kids want to play these, which of course is more money. But overall you can tailor your visit to your budget.
Worth taking the kids if you need a bit of a reprieve, although it's not a peaceful reprieve 😂
