It is very worrying that this PCYC is right across from this part of the park where I constantly see men aged 30-45 looking on the ground for “something” — it seems obvious to me this is a meeting point where drug dealers transfer drugs to one another.
I have attached pics to show you where it happens. I have seen it 3 seperate times over the past few months during the day.
The exact spot is not near the CCTV camera on the footpath that goes through the park — it’s about 10 metres from that in the bush more - but when they are there - you can see them doing this from the footpath as you walk through — so if police were to check those CCTV cameras, for example today from around 4:15pm you’ll see the latest man walk into that spot - who was then in there looking all around on the ground frantically. The exact same thing happened a few months ago with 2 guys frantically looking on the ground, it’s bizarre and I really hope it gets sorted out soon. Same thing keeps happening along Oxford street outside the hungry jacks and IGA where the homeless man on the ground keeps being used as a transfer point for drug dealers. My goodness every local who walks around here sees this I don’t know why police are not getting rid of something so obvious.

Youth club? What a joke. They have sold off every room to private sessions and just recently they even sold the weights room to a 3rd party which comes at an additional cost. You would think with less rooms to use they would adjust the memberships for what is now just some bags and a ring but they haven't. I have been a paying member since 2003 and cancelled my membership this week. Sad.

Great weights gym with lots of racks and drop weights, and doesn't get too busy. The boxing gym is good with plenty of bags and mirrors, with classes most nights. It's only a $17 a week if you direct debit...much cheaper than most CBD gyms. Recommend if you're intermediate or advanced i.e. know what you're doing.

Terrific facilities and very helpful and friendly staff.
From the personal trainers who are either one on one, to Billy who has quite a few doing there own workouts...they have been helpful with the odd question from myself and good at there job.
Plenty of room to move in the gym (weights/cardio/strengthening) area.
It has a bygone era feel about the place...but, with a modern attitude.
The amenities are great (shower) after workout.
The ever helpful staff at the front desk...Tom and Vic.
Thommo upstairs, and Ivan moving about, well you can't go wrong.
Let alone the other self defence and boxing facilities.
If you want a fair dinkum workout...move your feet left after right, and c'mon down.

Disappointed. I’m a big fan of the PCYC but I can’t visit the gym during lunchtime 3/5 days during the week because there are bjj classes.
I had to cancel my membership the second week I visited.
I would’ve appreciated knowing about this restriction before I signed up.
