Twinkle Kids Cafe Macarthur, opposite Event Cinemas in Macarthur Square, is a light-filled play café reserved for children under seven. Two cosy party rooms and a double room open directly onto the soft-play zone, keeping every table within sight of the action.
Two-hour party-room hire costs $480 on weekdays or $580 on weekends for 10 adults & 10 kids (max 15 / 15). Larger groups book the double room from $880 weekdays or $1,080 weekends (20 + 20 included, 30 + 30 cap). All packages bundle host service, balloon décor, adult share platters, kids’ meals, unlimited cordial/water and a gelato scoop. Whole-venue evenings are $1,500–1,800 for three hours with a $200 drink credit and optional BYO catering (service fee $200). Extra guests add $20 pp, deposits are non-refundable, and a 15 % public-holiday surcharge applies.

I recently visited Twinkle Kids Cafe and had a mixed experience.
It looks like a great spot for kids, with fun play areas and a good concept for families especially in a major shopping centre like MacArthur square. My daughter still enjoyed it. The cleanliness was an issue with sticky floors, visible dirt, and dusty equipment. Some toys didn’t seem regularly cleaned. There were also safety concerns, like poorly maintained equipment and exposed sharp cable ties which can be a hazard if it goes in a child’s eye.
My daughter’s baby chino was also given with an unsecured lid and spilled, adding to the sense of poor attention to detail.
Also some play areas felt incomplete, and there didn’t seem to be enough staff maintaining the space.
The cafe has strong potential, but needs better cleaning, maintenance, and staffing. All these issues I believe can be resolved with more staff and for sure better attention to detail. Overall 3/5.

We cannot thank the team at Twinkle Kids Café enough. We celebrated our son’s 5th birthday there on the weekend, and everything was seamless from start to finish. Communication leading up to the day was clear, and the support on the day made the whole experience stress‑free.
Cammy was wonderful throughout the planning - attentive, organised, and always prompt. On the day, Ruby took great care of us, and the whole staff worked together effortlessly.
The parents raved about the food and the venue. They loved how fresh everything tasted and appreciated that the package included food for adults too.
The kids had the best time. There was something for everyone - dress‑ups, grocery shop, a mini medical centre, slides, a jungle gym, and of course the ball pit, which was my son’s favourite.
We also love the size of the venue. It’s the perfect layout for parents to relax while still having a good view of their kids.
We’re so grateful for such a beautiful celebration. This was our second year celebrating at Twinkle Kids Café - our son loved it so much he asked to come back again.

My son celebrated his 6th birthday at Twinkle Kids Cafe, and I honestly cannot put into words how incredible the entire experience was. From the very beginning, the team went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Their communication was outstanding—I could message at any time and always received a prompt and helpful response, which made the whole planning process feel easy and stress-free.
What truly stood out was the level of care and attention to detail. They didn’t just meet expectations—they exceeded them. The team added thoughtful extra touches simply to make sure I was happy, and that level of customer service is something you don’t come across often. It was professional, warm, and genuinely caring.
The food was absolutely exceptional, with a wide variety of options that were not only plentiful but genuinely delicious. Everything was presented beautifully and enjoyed by both kids and adults alike. The playcentre itself was spotless, hygienic, and very accommodating, which made it even more enjoyable and comfortable for everyone attending.
My son had a Bunnings-themed party, which isn’t something you see often, and I hadn’t come across many examples online. Despite that, the team brought this vision to life perfectly. Seeing how happy and excited my son was made everything so worthwhile—they truly created something special and unique for him.
I want to give a heartfelt thank you to Nicole, Cammy, and Ruby for their time, effort, and dedication. And also a big thank you to the rest of the team working behind the scenes—your hard work did not go unnoticed. This day would not have been as magical without every single one of you.
I genuinely wish there was a rating higher than 5 stars, because Twinkle Kids Cafe deserves so much more. Highly, highly recommend!

Unfortunately, I wasn’t impressed with the cleanliness. Several toys and play areas were visibly dirty and not well maintained. Weekend pricing is noticeably higher than weekdays, which is disappointing given the premium hourly charge and the lack of cleanliness! it feels unreasonably unhygienic.
Additionally, there’s a $5 entry fee for adults (though this does include a complimentary drink voucher, which is a nice touch). Socks are also required - so be sure to bring your own, otherwise you’ll need to pay $4 to buy. !!! ($)
Overall, I’d probably think twice before visiting again.

One of the worst play centres I have ever been to, if I could rate a 0 I definitely would!! So dirty, not enough resources, most toys are broken with tape on it to fix, my child did not even like it because of how dirty and smelly the place was. They definitely do not clean the place, the staff are not proactive and all toys are lefts everywhere with no supervision from staff, I could not find one positive thing about this centre. For what you pay, you should receive a whole lot more. I will be reporting to NSW health as this place should be shut down, don’t take your children here!!!! Very disappointed in how macarthur square would ever let somewhere like this operate, the owners should be disgusted in themselves and should give this up to someone who would give it a lot of more love. Will never be back here again!!!
