About This Venue

Tennyson Studio, a sun-lit art space on Tennyson Road in Gladesville, turns birthdays into hands-on creativity with three party formats.

Ceramic Painting (2½ h, ages 6+) starts at $55 per child for a bread-and-butter plate and includes pizza, a drink, two kiln firings, games and a hand-painted keepsake plate for the birthday child. Canvas Painting / Acrylic Pour (3 h, ages 7+) costs $60 per child for a 40 × 30 cm canvas and step-by-step tuition; families may BYO snacks or add $7 pizza slices. Play-with-Clay Hand-building (2½ h, $60 pp) lets kids mould mugs or bowls from raw clay before glazing and firing. All options require a minimum of 12 guests, include all art materials, set-up and clean-up, and allow parents to bring a nut-free cake. A $50 non-refundable deposit secures the date, and completed masterpieces are collected 3–4 weeks later.

Amazing little studio in Tennyson that accommodated last minute for our corporate Christmas party booking. Ticky was a fabulous teacher, and our party of 16 had so much fun on the night of our event. We elected to do the clay building session, which ran for about 3 hours. Ticky set up a table that allowed us to self-cater and bring our own drinks which made it super easy to organise dinner for our evening session. Ticky was super accomodating, allowing each of us to make unique items with our own personal twists - we also got the opportunity to paint our clay items if we wanted to! The clay items then go into a kiln and get glazed and fired, which takes a few days. Once done, Ticky communicated efficiently and pick up of final products was extremely smooth. The items were all very beautiful! Would absolutely recommend Ticky and her studio to any corporate businesses wishing to do corporate team building workshops. The studio also runs regular group sessions that you can sign up for - definitely a great activity to go to if you’re looking for something artsy to do! Thank you once again Ticky!
