Hyper Karting brings all-weather go-karting to the rooftop of Sydney’s Moore Park Entertainment Quarter, pairing slick electric karts with a relaxed, family-friendly vibe. Three purpose-built tracks cater to different age groups: the Mini Track for budding drivers aged roughly 3 – 7 years (under 120 cm), the Junior Track for 7 – 11 year-olds, and the Main Track where 12 – 15 year-olds can really open the throttle. Comfortable party rooms overlook the circuits, so parents can keep an eye on the action while younger siblings enjoy the free-play arcade area.

Party options range from a quick 10-minute Mini Track block—8 exclusive kart seats for about $112—to fully packaged celebrations that bundle multiple races, arcade credit and optional catering. Packages are sold in three sizes:

Up to 16 kids · 1 hour – from $600 off-peak / $1,000 on-peak without food, or $800 / $1,200 with eight pizzas & garlic bread.
Up to 24 kids · 1.5 hours – from $900 / $1,370 (no food) or $1,200 / $1,650 (12 pizzas & garlic bread).
Up to 32 kids · 2 hours – from $1,200 / $1,825 (no food) or $1,580 / $2,200 (16 pizzas & garlic bread).

All bundles include two exclusive races per child, private party-room hire and pre-loaded arcade cards (50–100 taps depending on package). Self-catering is welcome if pizza isn’t preferred, and dietary adjustments can be arranged with 72 hours’ notice. Closed-toe shoes are required, helmets are supplied, and lightweight electric karts keep the venue fume-free—making Hyper Karting an easy, low-stress choice for parents seeking a high-energy birthday treat.

I rarely leave 1-star reviews, but this experience really missed the mark. The kart I was given was so slow I didn’t even need to touch the brakes — it felt like it was stuck in beginner mode. This completely took the fun out of what could’ve been a great session. The track layout and music were solid, but none of that mattered with such underwhelming performance. Unfortunately, the staff didn’t help lift the experience either. Most were young and seemed uninterested, offering little enthusiasm or guidance. The girl at the front desk (no name tag) signed us in for the 11:40am session on 21/3, barely made eye contact, spoke more to the screen than to us, and gave zero instructions after payment — we were left to figure everything out ourselves. The process from check-in to racing was unclear and unwelcoming. While the setup is comparable to other electric karting venues, the atmosphere, poor communication, slow karts, and disengaged team really let this place down. To top it off, one staff member — who appeared to be a mechanic — was seen drive past me waiting to go on track returning a kart with his foot up on the steering wheel, joking about electrical problems and how he didn’t know how to reset a circuit breaker. Another stafftold him they hadn’t received any instruction either. It’s a real shame — this place has potential and could be a solid money-maker if a bit more care, energy and professionalism were put in. I hope the owner takes the feedback seriously and lifts the standard, but based on other 1-star reviews, I won’t be surprised if there’s a generic “we try our best” reply. And yes, photos attached — this isn’t a stitch-up.

Awesome! Such a cool facility, and even better staff. They were so accommodating and kind to my 4yo daughter. She was feeling intimidated so they let her have a breather and join a quieter session. It went from tears to joy. Even I got to sneak a turn in. The adult karts are pretty rad when you unlock their speed. The course is challenging/fun too. Really really excellent experience. A must try for all ages. Thanks again guys 👍🏻
