★★★★Attended over the weekend for a birthday party. Staff were lovely and venue perfect. Booking was for 15 kids, but it was a tight squeeze. The entrance was tight, and the kids had to have their briefing outside as it sprinkled with rain. Bit overall lovely afternoon.

★We booked the disco party for my daughter's 11th birthday party on 1st March. It cost us $660. A key component of a disco is the music and sadly, the music system was not working properly and by the looks of the reviews hasn't worked for a few weeks. The music was not audible. The 'manager' on duty was fiddling with the system and it was on and off the whole time but it was just awful when it was on. Mostly static. The manager was completely unfazed when I brought to his attention that we had paid for a disco ice skating party and the music element was missing, telling me it was still ok as the kids could still skate. I was offered a family of 4 admission to another disco session 😂 wonder if it will actually be a disco with music if we ever venture back??? Needless to say as the party host I was extremely embarrassed and Ice Zoo should be embarrassed too. Don't book here, go to Macquarie instead, it's far superior. The only positive from the experience was the party host Jacqueline, she was great and the kids loved her.

★Visiting Ice Zoo was certainly an experience—just not the one I was hoping for. If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to ice skate in the middle of a zoo, complete with chaos, near-collisions, and a general lack of order, this is the place for you. Let’s start with the ice itself—wet, uneven, and in desperate need of resurfacing. You’ll spend more time dodging puddles than actually skating. The rental skates? Don’t expect comfort or quality; mine felt like they hadn’t been sharpened in years, and the support was nonexistent. Rules? What rules? Skaters zoom in every direction with no regard for safety, kids playing tag across the ice, and plenty of near-misses with people falling left and right. There’s no enforcement, so it’s every skater for themselves. The atmosphere doesn't help either. The music is a bizarre mix of outdated pop and awkward silence, played just loudly enough to be annoying but not enjoyable. The facilities are similarly lacking—dirty restrooms, a poorly maintained changing area, and limited seating for spectators. The one redeeming quality? The staff. They’re friendly, and they do their best with what they have, but unfortunately, a smile doesn’t fix broken skates or hazardous ice. Overall, if you’re looking for a structured, enjoyable skating experience, I’d look elsewhere. But if you thrive in absolute chaos and don’t mind taking your chances on questionable ice, you might just find it entertaining—for all the wrong reasons.

★Ice Zoo. It really is a zoo. The ice was rough and had water on some areas, there were way too many kids skating the opposite way, no staff to regulate it, there isn't a DJ and the music playing randomly pauses. Their calendar said that there was meant to be a disco night but when I attended, at no point was any disco music played. Absolutely do not recommend this place.
