About This Venue

The Cooking School’s Little Chef’s Adventures party turns its commercial kitchen in Canada Bay into a hands‑on pasta and cupcake workshop. Guided by a professional chef, up to 25 young cooks mix, knead and shape fresh pasta before whipping up and decorating cupcakes, then sitting down to enjoy the dishes they’ve created.

The fully inclusive, 2½‑hour session provides all ingredients, equipment, aprons and clean‑up, with one supervising parent welcome per five children. After a fun cupcake‑judging contest the group moves to a seated area to eat, leaving nothing to take home except full bellies and a new set of kitchen skills. Pricing is supplied via an online quote calculator, and parties can be tailored to suit birthdays for children aged 5+.

We have just finished our Dessert Cooking Class with Gabrielle and Wow what a fun morning. We started in a group of six enthusiastic gastronomes and finished with a chatty laughing group of friends. We came from all over Sydney with the same expectations of learning and tips and let me tell you, you get way more. A great teacher has patience empathy and pride in their work and Gabrielle abounds with all three. We learned tips and shortcuts that all the chefs use. We were shown what we were making, how to make it and then we did make it. All culminating with our soufflé dishes coming out warm and tall and tasty at the last. The course is not about flashy methods and tricks it’s about learning to transform complex dishes into simple food that tastes amazing. Having a love of all things baking my wife was in heaven. Im sure if you go you will be too. Don't expect to leave and go on Masterchef because this is real tasty affordable food cooked with family in mind. We are going back and doing another course or two. It was a really excellent day. Thanks again Gabrielle.

Such a fantastic experience! My first cooking class. Thoroughly enjoyed learning new recipes and upgrading my cooking niche to include some new Thai dishes! Gabriel was so friendly & full of patience to a room full of women with different levels of cooking skills! He thoroughly explained the process. The ingredients provided were fresh & the food we cooked tasted absolutely delicious! Walked away with some new chopping skills too!! Easy parking on site too. Totally recommend.

Energetic, informative and a lot of fun. My husband and I had a great Sunday out, attending a pasta-making class at the Cooking School. Gabriele (our teacher) was energetic, informative and is a great joke teller :P We were taken on a taste sensation journey, making 3 kinds of pasta, and sauces, from scratch; spaghetti (with oil, chilli and garlic), fettuccine (with basil pesto) and ravioli (filled with roasted pumpkin). Gabriele would do each step while we watched, then we went make to our table to copy the steps, with help available whenever we needed it. Who knew making delicious pasta was so easy? Gabriele had nothing to hide and welcomed the use of videos and photos. At the end of the class, we all sat together and ate our creations. I can see why people buy a Cooking School voucher as a birthday gift. It is a great way to spend the day and have a fun experience with someone you care about. Easy street parking is available, with amenities nearby.

Hands down, the best cooking experience of my life! I recently took the seafood class at The Cooking School and was blown away by the expertise, patience, and passion of Gabriele. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcome and at ease. The facilities are great, with state-of-the-art equipment and a beautifully designed commercial kitchen. The class itself was engaging, informative, and most importantly, FUN! We learned a range of skills and techniques, from knife work to cooking methods, and got to enjoy the delicious fruits of our labor at the end. What truly sets The Cooking School apart, though, is the quality of the instructor. Our instructor, Gabriele, was knowledgeable, encouraging, and had a clear passion for teaching. He took the time to answer all our questions, provided personalized feedback, and made sure we felt confident and empowered in the kitchen.
