Vitaland St Leonards: where imagination goes to die apparently.
The “market”? Empty.
Dress-up area? Empty.
Vet station? Empty.
Car fixing zone? Empty.
But don’t worry — there’s plenty of rubbish on the floor for the kids to play with because nobody cleans or packs anything away. Most parents and kids were crowded into the tiny ball pit with about 7 balls total because there was literally nothing else to do. Kids were even climbing UP the slide while others came down because the place is so poorly set up and empty. My 2-year-old got kicked in the face going down the slide because of it.
The photos online are seriously misleading. Looks amazing in pictures, feels abandoned in real life. Dangerous, messy, overpriced, and unbelievably disappointing.
Response to owner:
I disagree with your response because it does not reflect what we actually experienced that day.
The issue was not that children were “actively playing” with the toys. Entire sections including the market, vet and repair areas were almost completely empty for a long period of time. I could clearly see many of the missing toys piled upstairs near the slide area, with no staff organising or returning them. My daughter was even trying to put items back onto the shelves herself because she was disappointed there was nothing to play with.
It is also not accurate to say items were replenished within two minutes. We stayed in those areas for quite some time and nothing was restocked until we were already about to leave.
Regarding cleanliness, there was rubbish left around the centre including cake crumbs, food and even watermelon skin on the floor. Parents were kicking rubbish aside themselves to avoid children slipping. I also have photos showing the condition of the centre at the time.
I understand rainy days are busier, and I understand parents also have responsibility. However, when parents are not supervising properly, the venue still has a responsibility to manage safety, cleanliness and the play environment. Instead of acknowledging the poor management on the day, your response feels dismissive and full of excuses rather than genuine accountability.

Disappointing experience. We visited on the public holiday Monday, and the place was nowhere near as clean as the reviews suggested. There was dust everywhere, and staff were standing around when they could have been preparing and cleaning for the next group of paying customers. Also, $40 for one child and two adults feels quite expensive for what you get. The equipment seem very old

Excellent place for children! The area is big, clean, and full of engaging activities. The team is very friendly and does a great job keeping the environment in great condition.

Came here on a public holidays and was charged an extra 15 per cent. Adult entry also another charge - but was told it includes a drink. A English breakfast tea is $6, I had to pay extra $1. For some odd reason, a tea is more expensive than coffee. The tea also tasted like milk with hot water. Pricing a bit steep in my opinion. For 1 hour play for 2 kids and 2 adults costed $60 for one hour. Additional charge for rides.
The play centre is okay. A bit weird that the kitchen is separated from the other play area. Staff overall have poor English. On a positive note, it was clean. According to Instagram there is free parking - however - it is at another building. If you haven’t come here before, it was very confusing. It was also raining.

We visited for the first time this weekend and were so impressed. The facility is incredibly clean, which is always my main concern with indoor play areas.
