Absolutely ridiculous experience at Strike Bowling Macquarie Centre.
The balls kept getting stuck over and over again, and the machines were clearly not working properly. Every few minutes something would break. Staff would “fix” it, we’d bowl one or two turns, and then it would jam again. At one point we were literally standing there for HALF AN HOUR waiting for them to sort it out. We paid to bowl, not to watch someone reset a machine.
The worst part? They refused to give us a refund. No compensation, no partial refund, nothing — even though most of our session was spent waiting around. Since we’re minors we had to leave before 8pm, so we didn’t even get to finish the game we paid for.
If you’re going to charge full price, at least have lanes that actually work. Super disappointing and honestly feels like a waste of money.

I came to this centre frequently to have fun with my friends due to their affordable prices and good service. Not like another branch in Darling Harbour, they take good care of customer which make the experience enjoyable. My favorites are interactive darts, laser tag and arcade games. I wish they can have more escape rooms

Massive shout out to Yanni for ensuring our work Christmas Party ran smoothly, and for making the evening so much fun. My friends and I had the best time ever at karaoke here! Nia, one of the staff members was so kind and did her job extremely well. Because of her, we were able to relax and have a good time. She was so considerate and made us feel so welcome and comfortable. Honestly, we will definitely come back because of this!!!
